Canada faces a labor shortage of 429,000

As per the Canadian Federation of Independent Business (CFIB), Canada has 429,000 unfulfilled jobs. The country’s aging population is primarily to blame. While Quebec had the highest number of vacancies, it was followed by Ontario and British Columbia. Industry-wise, the highest vacancy was in personal services, construction, and the hospitality industry.
